Registered Valuer Entity under Companies Act 2013
Registered Valuer (RV) and Registered Valuer Entity (RVE) were concepts introduced by Section 247 of the Companies Act, 2013 to regulate valuation of various assets and liabilities related to a Company and to adopt standardized procedure for Valuation in line with International Valuation Standards.
Section 247 of Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Rules, 2017 (the Rules), both came into effect from 18 October, 2017.
In response to this changing ecosystem, we established IndiaAppraisers.com Pvt Ltd (IAPL) and registered it as a Registered Valuer Entity (RVE) with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (“IBBI”). We are registered number IBBI/RV-E/07/2020/129.
IAPL has been granted registration as a RVE under ALL Three Asset Classes viz;
1. Land and Building
2. Plant and Machinery
3. Securities and Financial Assets
As mandated by Registered Valuers and Valuation Rules, both Directors of IndiaAppraisers.com Pvt. Ltd viz. Sujit Joglekar and Sanjay Ranade are Registered Valuers under The Companies Act, 2013.
